Get your pitchforks ready, light the torches, and warn your Dark Souls–purist cousins — because I’m about to commit blasphemy: Dark Souls 2 is my favorite Souls game. The so-called “black sheep,” the one everyone clowns on in YouTube essays? Yeah, that’s the one I keep coming back to. Call me crazy, cancel me at the family BBQ, whatever — I love this game.
